Philosophy Purity 3-in-1 cleanser for face and eyes

Switch from keihl's ultra facial cleanser which was really good, but I was looking for a cheaper alternative.

Why did I chose philosophy products?
I first read about philosophy products in women's weekly and was quite interested to try. Then I researched alittle about its miracle worker (anti-aging) product, which my findings were that younger woman actually find it rather effective. Hence, since I was looking for a cheaper cleanser, I decided to try theirs.

The 3 in 1 cleanser is $27.50 for 240ml from Singapore airport duty free. Its about the same price as the kiehl's ultra facial cleanser but almost double that of its volume.

The 3 in 1 cleanser is a cleanser, make up remover and toner.

Initially, I was just using it to cleanse as I do not put on make up. I find it rather mild vs keihl's, and initially felt that my face wasn't cleaned enough as it doesnt have much foam. It is rather watery based.

Then I decided to try it with make up which was amazing!!

My make up was rather light, with eye concealer, foundation, blusher and loose powder.

I used a pore cleansing brush, from qoo10, and w just 1 round of brushing, all the make up was easily removed leaving the face (including the eye area) feeling clean, yet to oily at all and not too strong for my skin as compared to my previous Maybeline make up remover.

The best thing it that it saves time (its 3 in 1 remember?), and the after effects were amazing, leaving skin feeling clean and hydrated before applying skin care.

Im enjoying this product very much! Hope u'll enjoy it too!!

L'action cosmetique bye bye dark circles

Hi there!

I always have the issue of dark eye rings since I was in my teens and it has only gotten worst as a grow... up and older.. :(

Anyway im trying out this bye bye dark circle concealer cum treatment stick.

First u have to apply the concealer (before foundation) and then the transparent treatment gel which is water based (I like!). Leave it to dry abit.

I didnt want to put it after my foundation because I didnt want the "mask"/treatment gel to mix w my foundation, who knows what harmful chemicals can be in the foundation that will mask into my already bad dark circles!!

After application i found the coverage is not high, my dark eye rings are still visible. However, after foundation, the concealer starts to be more obvious. Give me the natural look which is my personal preference. :)

Hmmm.. after using it for 4 days, this product is able to cover me for the whole day (im in the aircon room most of the time). Very slightly improvements on the rings, so im pressing in to see if it will get any better..

On the packaging it says improvement in 8 weeks.. tts a really long time!

Anyways will update again!

Here's some pictures of the stick and BEFORE application. Just to see how the original dark circles will improve... :)

Body Shop Tea Tree Oil

After medication, things were better but the acne came back again every few months. By this time, many well meaning friends and relatives got worried and kept asking. The acne spreads and one after another. It has a dark spot on the surface and when i squeeze it, it has a really painful exit and it usually spurts out. Stuff that comes out are a combination of pus and blood. but when all the blood is squeezed out, the dark spot disappears which is my main concern. So i always squeeze it and left w scars now.. :( So many people told me about Tea Tree Oil from the Body Shop which I tried. At first, the tea tree oil helps dry out small pimples, but my dries my skin on the surface and it will start to peel. As it dries the skin, my pimples seems to be come out lesser but it will still appear... I used this for roughly about a year or 2..and still squeezing and spurting.. :(

First attempt for less painful skin..

As mentioned in my previous post, im having really painful blood acne that keeps coming up.

First, I went to GP to seek help and I had to take anti-botics and apply skin exfoliation cream. GP told me that squeezing the pimples / acne will guarantee scars as it causes a wound in the skin.

Hence, I faithfully took my medication and it subsided for awhile.

Post medication side effects was that I turned lactose intolerant.

(I was told that I will not be able to drink milk during the course of the anti-botics and apparently I still wasnt able to take milk after I finished the course of my medication)

Trouble life with skin problems.... :(

Im gg to blog about my skincare trials.

In my early 20s, my skin suddenly deteriorated and developed blood acnes. It was painful and ugly (big dark spots). When squeezed its extremely painful (but satisfying) and blood would spurt out with pas.

All these left me w uneven skin which im also unsure if my facial at Adonis made it worst when inexperienced beauticians just squeeze at every pore kinda feeling.

So when I go to facial now, I dont let them squeeze my face.

So this is where i started out. Will start blogging about my search for better skin. :)
